So I've finally been allowed to use someone online that isn't video game walkthrough shrines and CoolKidz.Zone, and oh god.

Mom and Aunt Noriko still won't let me use anything but the Melffy Deck I got. So naturally I'm getting bowled over at school, which sucks.

And I have to go to Finishing School at St. Mary's after school, and... all I know is my head goes blank while I'm there except for when I pull Destinee's hair and get into cat fights with her after she OHOHOHOs me. I know Kyoko and Kanan are there.

Apparently Kanan was wearing stilts last year and managed to trick everyone for a year???

... One thing I will say I am liking is spending Saturday and Sunday afternoons at Carcosa with Sumiho. Mom and Aunt Noriko insisted I have to after traumatizing him.

Also, There is no other mes, so hush.

Also no-one at school believes I'm the Imperial Princess. ... And why does the press keep calling me Princess Guren???

Other than it's classes to teach me how to be a PROPER YOUNG LADY, no not really, everything feels blurry.

I feel mildly concerned about that, for some reason.

But I'm not sure if it's due to qualities related to the school, or if you're so bored you're tuning everything else out.

Otherwise, I wonder if there's anything that can be done with the Melffy deck to at least try to improve your win-ratio-- in an official "teacher to student" capacity. Your grades in a dueling school do tend to be tied to that, and while I understand the logic a little bit...

I'm not allowed to summon Ancient Pixie Dragon or Ancient Fairy Dragon, for obvious reasons. And I haven't earned privileges to use Thunder Unicorn, Voltic Bicorn, or Lightning Tricorn, along with Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder.

Mom's convinced if I use any of the beast synchros or Zeus, I'll fall in with a bad crowd and start a doomsday cult and not respect my elders.

... Zeus I somewhat get, but the Beast Synchros? Really? Well, something as a thought...

Curious how Melffy's are getting trampled. They're quite powerful in the right circumstances. Maybe need to look at retooling a bit.
As for the Imperial Household... I'll admit I'm not too sure about that one myself. I know there was an assassination by the far right... but then a family all the way to the left was next in line. Beats me how that happened.

Melffy with no real outside support and no AA-ZEUS. Versus kids with Decks that have more kitted out Extra Decks and tech.

Apparently my Auntcle Souha is the next legitimate heir?

Hmm... well maybe we'll need to find some more furry friends that play nice. Even without Zeus or specific side-archetypes like tri-brigade, you should still be able to go toe to toe with some powerful decks. Never underestimate your furry friends!

It's three families, and might be a fourth if Aunt Umu ever commits. My mom belongs to the Kiriya family which comes from organized crime(?), Aunt Noriko belongs to an older banking family that is the heart of a Keiretsu, and Auntcle Souha's family just shows up everywhere. Something about signing a pact with the Devil.

Kanan might be technically religiously devoted to whatever God I'm connected to, but she's pretty sensible and calls me out on stuff.

Kurako's sweet but I think she might be a small nation's economy in candy consumption. And is 'talk softly and say only what you need'.

My little brother's neat, if a little odd and he likes to watch me play games.

Kyoko's been pretty good but defers a lot.

So it's not like my friend group is bad, I think???

I wonder if she's going too far... but I did say I'd let her handle it...
